RICK CLAPP is a transformative executive leadership coach dedicated to guiding faith-driven leaders to align with their God-given purpose, lead with clarity, and thrive in their mission. Raised as an "Army brat" across the U.S. and Europe, Rick brings a global perspective and adaptive mindset to his coaching. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Campbellsville University and a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, seamlessly blending biblical wisdom with strategic expertise.


With over 25 years as an Executive Pastor in multisite churches, leading operations, staff development, and strategic initiatives for congregations of over 3,000, Rick transitioned to full-time coaching in 2020. As the founder of Beyond Survival Coaching and a certified StratOp Facilitator through the Paterson Center, he empowers senior pastors, executive pastors, and faith-driven leaders across the United States, Canada, and Africa. 


Rick’s empathetic, hope-filled coaching helps leaders overcome burnout, align vision with execution, and rediscover joy in their purpose and calling. Based in Colorado Springs, Rick is married to Laura, with six children, and enjoys biking, Jeeping, big family breakfasts, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys.  


LAURA CLAPP is a Certified Enneagram Coach specializing in team assessment and coaching as well as candidate assessment and screening.  She has over  20  years of experience in leading teams and guiding leaders to discover their calling. Laura grew up in a small town in Glasgow, Kentucky.

 

She loves being present with people when the light bulb comes on and they realize why they do what they do best.  Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Educational Counseling and Youth Ministries from Liberty University, and a Master of Biblical Studies degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.  A pastor’s wife for the past 25 years, she has partnered with her husband in executive ministry and co-founded Beyond Survival.  


At home in beautiful Colorado, Rick and Laura love to spend time with their six children.
