Advocates of Hope (Eswatini, Africa) exists to provide an opportunity for younger leaders to gain real ministry experience and to discover their next steps in pursuing God’s call on their life. Mpilo and Tamara are the leaders of this ministry. Mpilo has sensed for many years the calling to raise up young men and women as leaders in the Kingdom of Eswatini. Through this calling, he and Tamara empower and equip Swazi men and women who have grown up in the Care Points and feel called into ministry to become shepherds in their community.
As shepherds, they disciple and care for the children in the Care Point of their community. Each participant commits to a 9- month program of training where they live at the Ambassadors of Hope home and upon completion commits to lead for 2 years as a Care Point shepherd. Mpilo and Tamara are committed to their investment in the lives of the shepherds and daily pour into them through training, discipling, teaching practical life skills and giving them opportunities to grow through ministry. They are raising 3 beautiful children and live in the community of Nhlangano.
We are honored to partner with AOH and are committed to bring along others who have a desire to help as well. If you are interested in learning more about AOH or one of our mission trips, please email rick@beyondsurvival.org.
