God has a way of bringing events in our life full circle. This summer is one of those times for us.
On July 4, 2006, God interrupted our lives with an opportunity that would forever change our family. We were attending for the first time, the 4th of July parade in Monument, Colorado. This has since become a tradition for us each year. Our paths crossed on that day with a ministry that was leading a vision trip to Swaziland, Africa....

16 years ago today, our family was made complete! We landed on U.S. soil after 6 very challenging weeks in Eswatini completing the adoption of Isaiah and Laila. We were finally all together as a family after one of the most faith building, life altering, miracle-filled journeys of our lives. God had taken the calling He placed on us to Swaziland, Africa in 2006, and expanded it to the calling of our adoption...

A dream is coming true

Because our family has been spread out over 4 states, we have been meeting over Zoom as we work through the itinerary, expectations, ministry and cultural preparations, and logistics. One of the unexpected joys that we are seeing come to fruition, is watching our children who are now adults take leadership over the ministry areas...

One month away
One month from today, 9 of us are boarding a plane to Africa. This trip has been in our hearts since the day we returned to the U. S. with Isaiah and Laila. Our family was finally complete. Our connection to Eswatini existed prior to God’s call on us to adopt, and we knew that completing the adoption would not change that. If anything, it further fueled our desire to continue to invest in the relationships and ministries that we were partnering with. Now, 16 years later, we are taking Laila back, and our family is forming the team that will do the work of the ministry together...
